13 May 2019 Gunnedah Shire Council has committed to supporting staff through vocational education, with 26 employees currently enrolled in trainee and apprenticeship courses, and a further 10 in other certificate-based courses. 24 April 2019 A major water meter infrastructure upgrade is beginning in the Gunnedah Shire next week, with the installation of automatic meter devices at Gunnedah, Curlewis, Tambar Springs and Mullaley.
