• The mobile collection unit is designed specifically for household waste and recycling generated from residential properties.
• To prevent loss of load during transport to the Gunnedah Waste Management Facility, in accordance with Roads and Transport NSW requirements.
• To minimise risks to Council staff who may otherwise be exposed to hazardous, biological, or contaminated waste, in line with Work Health and Safety obligations.
• To reduce the risk of fire, chemical exposure, and contamination caused by inappropriate disposal of industrial materials such as oils, solvents, paints, hydraulic hoses, and oily rags.
• To protect Council vehicles and equipment from damage and contamination resulting from hazardous or non-compliant waste materials.
