Remembrance Plaques at the Cemetery

Remembering and honouring our departed loved ones and family members is an important process in celebrating their lives and commemorating their legacy.

The Hunter Street Cemetery in Gunnedah has a number of remembrance seats to which plaques can be affixed to acknowledge those placed in unmarked graves.

Council will endeavour to locate graves, where possible from records, however if this cannot be done families can commission a plaque to be placed on the seats. If you have a family member or loved one who is believed to be interred in the cemetery in an unknown location Council is here to assist you.
