Gunnedah Shire Library is offering lots of fun activities, storytelling and handicrafts for children up to 13 years this school holidays.  Sessions are held in Gunnedah and Curlewis library has sessions on Monday afternoons.  For younger children, we have Book Buddies on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, from 10.30 to 11am. Spotlight:  On Spanish and Malaysian for Book Buddies Spanish and Malaysian are the latest two languages to be featured during Book Buddies. Guests from the International Women’s Association will be holding an interactive story time on Thursday, March 24, at 10.30 and Malaysian is the language of choice on Tuesday, March 29.  Book Buddies is held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning from 10.30 to 11am. Spotlight:  Multicultural Book Buddies three times a week! This month, Multicultural March, the library has teamed up with the Multicultural Women’s  Association.  Members of the Organisations are coming to the library on selected days to read stories from their own countries, chat about their culture, and show children and carers a handicraft from their countries. Spotlight:  Arts North West 25th Birthday card Calling everyone with an artistic bent! Arts North West is celebrating their 25th birthday, and they have produced a birthday card with a blank side that they would like members of the public to decorate using whatever medium they wish, and then send it back to them.
