Spotlight: Services as usual!
Despite the barricades across the entrance to the library, it’s business as usual inside, so come on in and pay us a visit!
The barricades will be up for a little while as the pavement will be paved and the gutters repaired but we will try to ensure that access to the library is as easy as possible.
Inside, it’s services as usual – you can return and borrow books, book a computer, do printing, copying and having your documents certified by a JP.
Just remember, before you come in, you must sign in, and also wear a mask the entire time you are in the library, for public safety. If you haven’t got a phone that copes with the QR code, don’t worry, just ask the staff and we will sign you in – it just takes a second!
Programmes are running as usual, as long as Covid restrictions are being adhered to.

Spotlight: House Bound Delivery!
If you don’t want to risk your health or can’t come in for some reason, just give us a call on 6740 2190 and ask for books to be delivered to your home. You just need to tell us how many books you want, and what type – Australian fiction, handicraft books, history, etc. – and you can be put on the list for House bound delivery – we’ll deliver a bag of books to your home once a fortnight – free of charge!

Spotlight: eBooks!
If you prefer to read on your device, don’t worry, we have you covered!

If paper books are your thing, you’ve come to the right place, because plenty of new titles have been added to the library stock during the last week.
Amongst the new books are Whatever it takes, a Large Print mystery by Paul Cleave – a gripping mystery with a surprising twist. Daddy Cool: finding my father, the singer who swapped Hollywood fame for home in Australia by Darleen Bungey is a great family autobiography. Fantasy fans will enjoy The Queen of the Tearling the first book in a trilogy by Erika Johansen.

See you soon at the library!
