CAMPING

Camping is available at the Gunnedah Showground during AgQuip for exhibitors and visitors. Council will have an onsite caretaker at the showground. The entrance for camping is via the showground main gates in South Street (Oxley Highway). Camping will be available from the Saturday prior to the event, until the Friday following the event.

Fees

Both powered and unpowered sites are available and the cost per site is $30 per night for unpowered sites and $35 per night for powered sites. There are 150 combined sites available, which includes 100 powered sites. We recommend bringing a power extension cord, which must be tested and tagged. Payment is accepted by EFTPOS (the preferred payment method) or cash. Payment is taken by the onsite caretaker and receipts will be issued.

There are no bookings. Sites are allocated on a first-in, first-served basis.

Camping Facilities

Toilet and shower facilities are available on site and in the grandstand building for campers to use. Showers are also located at the Gunnedah Memorial Swimming Pool Complex. Pool entry fee is applicable.

An RV and caravan dump point is located just inside the main entrance to the showground, immediately on the left after entering through the gates in South Street.

Pets

Pets are permitted but must be on a lead and secured on the camping site when unattended.

Cooking Fires

Campers wishing to have a fire for the purpose of cooking must check with the onsite caretaker.
